4th Annual Golf Tournament

Benefiting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

Thank You!

We salute the many people who made
the 2005 Juvenile Diabetes Research
Foundation benefit this year such a
wonderful success! A good time was
had by all who attended the day’s
events!

Joining Team Patrick in sponsoring the event were business associates Bill Ward, Attorney, and Charles Wilkinson, Wilkinson Builders. We are grateful to all the participants for their significant contributions toward finding a cure for juvenile diabetes.

Sunny skies followed those taking part in the 4th Annual People Helping People Golf Tournament at Hartefeld National Golf Course. This event was dedicated to people known to us who battle diabetes everyday.

A day of golf was followed by a silent auction and elegant awards banquet. Prizes included elegant Waterford Crystal from The Kitchen Sink, flowers from Walkers Florist and exquisite golf trophies.

Here are some important facts everyone should know about diabetes:

  • Diabetes is a chronic, debilitating disease affecting every organ system
  • Diabetes kills one American every three minutes
  • Sixteen million Americans have the disease; of these, 5.4 million remain undiagnosed
  • Diabetes is the leading cause of kidney failure, adult blindness, and non-traumatic amputations, and a leading cause of nerve damage, stroke, and heart attacks.
