First impressions are lasting ones.  Curb appeal is a key factor in attracting potential Buyers.  For this reason, it is very important to have the exterior of your home sparkle just as much as the interior.  Washing the windows and polishing the doorknobs are certain to make your home stand out from the rest.

Fresh Paint

Be certain that the front door, entryway and porches are clean or freshly painted.  Consider seal coating the driveway if it has not been done recently.

Flower Beds and Gardens

If plantings or gardens have become overgrown, have plants pruned or consider having them removed and replaced with new plantings.  Provide a fresh, attractive appearance to your home by re-mulching flower beds and gardens.

During the spring, summer and fall months, consider adding annual plants to provide a splash of color.  Pots and hanging baskets filled with flowers and plants add color and texture without requiring great expense.

Lawn and Garden Maintenance

Be certain to schedule regular grass cutting to maintain a neat appearance.  Control the growth of weeds in the summer and edge and trim walkways.  Keep in mind that Buyers are very much enticed to see the interior of properties that present attractive curb appeal and boast pride of ownership by displaying a well-maintained exterior.
